Job Description: Technical Consultant

A technical consultant is part of the project team that makes our customer happy. You focus on the actual delivery of the Salesforce solutions that focus on customer experience. You work with our customers and create value for their business by implementing relevant use cases.

We do that by mining the value in existing Salesforce implementations or by custom designing and building new Salesforce solutions.

What does your day look like as a Technical Consultant?

  • You analyse the challenges of our customers and propose a future-proof solution;
  • You conduct the technical analysis together with the Architect and you are able to translate user stories into technical requirements;
  • You are able to proactively advise on new functionalities in the Salesforce ecosystem (new releases, new AppExchange ISVs, …);
  • You work with the implementation team to ensure that the solution is build according to Salesforce best practices;
  • You are part of the configuration team and collaborate with the (offshore) developers; 
  • You create and coordinate the technical design and documentation;
  • You are responsible for unit testing and quality assurance on the technical configuration and customisation;
  • You are responsible for execution of the release strategy and data migration;
  • You secure knowledge transfer;
  • You participate in the pre-sales cycle of new potential customers.

  • You have very strong interpersonal skills and enough confidence to challenge the customer;
  • You have a creative and analytical mind;
  • You have minimum 2 years of relevant Salesforce experience; a Master degree (preferably in business, engineering or computer science) is a plus;
  • You are fluent in English and in Dutch or French. Working knowledge of other languages is a plus.
