Brussels, October 5th 2021 – A new Belgian company has just joined the Salesforce ecosystem. The founders of UPEO are experienced Salesforce professionals Sara Mathijs and Christian Cano. UPEO focuses on mining the value of existing Salesforce implementations and building new solutions to help organisations grow.
“Companies have often invested a lot in digital transformation programmes, purchasing or creating software that puts their customers and their experience at the heart of their strategy,” says Sara Mathijs. “Unfortunately, they do not always reap the benefits of these investments. UPEO will focus on maximising the return on investment of implementing customer-first strategies.”
Sara Mathijs and Christian Cano share a past in the Salesforce practices of both Accenture and 4C/Wipro. Until recently, Sara Mathijs was Country Director Belux at Wipro. Prior to the acquisition by Wipro, she was Country Managing Director Benelux at 4C. Christian Cano was Salesforce Lead Consultant at 4C. Together they bring years of Salesforce experience in different industries and across different Salesforce clouds for sales, service, marketing, commerce,… and often in a multi-cloud environment.
It is no coincidence that UPEO is being launched on October 5th, which is international Customer Experience Day (CXDay). “As the saying goes: without customers, you don’t have a business, but a hobby,” said Sara Mathijs. “Customer experience and customer centricity are the top priority for every organisation. Technology helps you attract and retain customers.”
UPEO differs from other Salesforce consultants by taking a long-term view on customer engagements. “We firmly believe that a Salesforce project does not stop with the go live,” said Christian Cano. “We see it as the starting point to put your data to work and reap the benefits of the project.” To get the most out of Salesforce implementations, UPEO insists on co-creating the solution with the customer. “By spending enough time on co-creation to design, build and operate a solution that is tailored to the specific needs of the customer, we can get the architecture right from the start. Too many projects lack the right foundations, which hinders a company’s growth.”
